Evangelist Joyce L. Carelock

Joyce Carelock is the founder and chair of Joyce Carelock Ministries, a striving ministry with a mandate from God to help hurting people globally. She has been in ministry for over 22 years. She is the wife of Elder George W. Carelock, Jr., the pastor of Grace and Mercy Church of God In Christ, Chantilly, VA., where she serves along side her husband as the First Lady of a growing ministry with Greatness imprinted in the hearts, of the leaders: Minister Jamel and Brandon; and adopted daughter Melia.

She is a member of National Association of Professional Women (NAPW); and founder of J & B Quality Travel. Evangelist Carelock has traveled within the United States and abroad spreading the message of hope. Her unique presentation and enthusiasm of the gospel has enabled her to minister to various denominations and organizations. She is the author of four books entitled: Church Hurts Can Make You Bitter or Better: You Choose; Church Hurts Workbook; On My Way Down I Looked UP & Grace Found Me In Lodebar; and Youth Halted Between Bad Choices & God's Purpose.

Currently Joyce is pursuing a Graduate Certificate Organization Development-MU (exp'd 05 '12); and Masters Degree in Professional Counseling at LU; she has the following accomplishments: Graduate Certificate Christian Studies, Fuller Theological Seminary; Master Science Administration Justice and Security, UOP; Bachelor Science Business Management, UOP; Associates Arts General, UAA. She has also received numerous certificates for training and ministry within Church of God in Christ.

Joyce’s mission is to bring hope, and healing to the wounded through biblical teachings, retreats, seminars and conferences. Her purpose is to encourage people to walk in God’s purpose and plan for their individual lives. Her goal is to equip the people of God to be freed, empowered, and effective vessels of God’s love, mercy and grace in a time such as this.
